About Us

GC Home Hero’s story started back in 2002, working on homes for builders and learning the industry from the ground up. From new builds to warranty work, it was years of problem-solving, hands-on experience, and discovering that no two jobs — or builders — are ever quite the same.

By 2014, the focus shifted toward rental property maintenance, building strong relationships with property managers and creating a faster, more reliable system for handling everyday repairs and ongoing maintenance. It quickly became clear that the industry needed better communication, better organisation, and less “I’ll get back to you next week.”

In 2015, things levelled up again with the development of a custom in-house web portal designed specifically to streamline maintenance management. While most companies were still drowning in paperwork, phone tags, and mystery invoices, we were building systems to track jobs in real time, improve communication, and keep clients updated every step of the way. Nerdy? Maybe a little. Effective? Absolutely.

Then came 2020 — a fresh start on the Gold Coast. Sunshine, palm trees, humidity that attacks power tools… the full package. While part of the original crew continued servicing long-term clients, GC Home Hero expanded into the Gold Coast market with a strong focus on rental maintenance, while also reconnecting with builders to handle warranty and defect repairs.

Today, GC Home Hero combines old-school workmanship with modern technology to deliver a maintenance service that’s fast, organised, and easy to work with. Less chasing trades. Less stress. More getting things sorted properly the first time.
